Under Construction.

Series Overview:

The Bone Collector’s Daughter blends urban fantasy with psychological horror and leans hard into grit, dark humor, and giant frigging monsters that have no business existing in the modern world. It’s messy, it’s sharp around the edges, and nobody walks away unchanged — least of all Izzy Graves.

The story hits hard on trauma, legacy, and what it actually costs to keep moving when the world refuses to give you a break. Izzy’s trying to make sense of the power she never asked for, protect the people who matter to her, and stay upright while monsters — human and otherwise — keep tearing holes in her life.
This is a planned three-book series, and Book 2 is already underway.
Why I Wrote This:
I’ve always been drawn to stories where introverts get shoved into the spotlight and have no choice but to deal with it. I’m the same way, happiest in my little cave with my stories, staying out of sight and hoping no one expects me to socialize. So yes, there is a lot of Izzy in me. I also love watching ordinary, nerdy people get dropped into completely absurd situations. It is the closest thing to living vicariously through chaos without actually dying horribly.

Urban fantasy and horror comedy have always been comfort food for me: Dresden Files, Ghostbusters, Young Frankenstein, Tremors. And I have been a giant-monster superfan my whole life. If it stomps, screeches, or levels a city, I am probably obsessed with it: Godzilla, King Kong, Cloverfield, Colossal, Pacific Rim. I took all of that and hurled it at Izzy Graves and her friends just to see what they would do.
Writing their adventures, and watching Izzy grow into the person she is meant to become, has been an absolute blast.

It's the apocalypse, and somehow,
she drew the short straw.

About the Book:

For Izzy Graves, cleaning up blood splatters is just another satisfying Tuesday.
But when her serial killer father leaves her a collection of human bones—and a doomsday cult comes knocking—Izzy's life gets a whole lot messier.
Armed with her pet rat, a resting death face, and a squad of social rejects, Izzy must stop the resurrection of an ancient serpent god... or die trying.
A darkly funny, gore-splattered romp for fans of Dexter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
